“1 Angry Black Man” Movie is adapted from Director Sidney Lumet and Playwright/Screenwriter Reginald Rose film classic “12 Angry Men” #TwelveAngryMen. We have 12 Characters, 1 Professor named Carla and 11 Students in a Liberal Arts College class, just as Sidney Lumet had 12 juror Characters in “12 Angry Men”. We shot a few blocks away from where the original Classic was shot in the Bronx. Heated discussion and debate ensues among the students during their African American literature class on James Baldwin, Zora Neale Hurston, August Wilson and Ta-nehisi Coates. Politics on Democratic and Republican views supported fairly, feminist views, LBGTQ views, Free Speech, Protest and what it’s like for African American student named Mike on a predominantly White Campus. It’s a different world for Mike. #1AngryBlackManMovie
